Lily Gucfa is a thesis candidate at the Department of Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design “RISD,” concentrating in Nature-Culture and Sustainability Studies.
Lily currently serves as Co-President for the RISD chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students “NOMAS” and advisor and former President to Brown University’s China Care in partnership with One Sky. She was a Teaching Assistant for RISD’s Continuing Education between March 2020-2022 and continues to be a Resident Advisor for the RISD Residence Life Office since September 2021.
She is a recipient of the RISD Prescott O. Clarke Scholarship, Norman Chan '84 Endowed Scholarship, and the Allen Berg Memorial Scholarship in association with the ACE National Mentorship Program. Recent works include a comission for the CSEBRI Cultural Society prototyping a Chinese American History Exhibit for Rhode Island public libraries, and La Mujer Obrera, a studio project.
